Vernon, British Columbia (installAll.net) June 1, 2010 -- Starting today, Vernon-based internet company installOk.ca is offering 100 Okanagan businesses a free website as part of their launch goal to build 100 websites in 100 days.
installOk.ca is looking to help local businesses and non-profits expand their reach by creating a website for those that don't already have one. To be part of the challenge, organizations can go to www.installok.ca to sign-up for their free site. An installOk.ca team member will then work with the client to develop, launch and submit the website to search engines like Google.
"As a small, local business ourselves, we want to support Okanagan companies that may not otherwise have the means to hire a web development team," says Matt Roth, VP of Marketing. "By offering them this opportunity, we not only help build their sales and brand awareness, but we also install easy-to-use tools to manage every aspect of their company's website and provide free training on how to use them."
Once they sign-up, businesses can expect the entire website creation process--from initial consultation to finished product--to take as little as one week.
"Depending on how much customization the company desires, it may take two to three weeks," says Roth. "Either way, the results from our service match those of most premium web development companies."
installOk.ca began privately rolling out their free web development services to select businesses in Vernon, BC in the summer of 2009. The company donated its services to develop the United Way of North Okanagan Columbia Shuswap's current website (www.unitedwaynocs.com).
